Well one week has already turned into two weeks and there’s likely to be at least another week before I get connected to the internet and return to blogging!
Although my ISP has done its part in trying to relocate my connection, the telephone company keeps telling them that there is no phone connection at the new address (despite the phone having been connected by them on the 28th of last month).
What’s even stranger is the fact that the ‘phone company actually rang the new number to tell me that there would be an additional week’s delay in connecting the number that they’d just called me on!!!!!!
I think I’ve now managed to convince all parties concerned that the phone line has been connected and is fully functional – so I hope it will be ‘business as usual’ very soon!!
